Charles-- It's my name, one I'm not happy with, so you know, I'm Charley or Char. Calling me Charles means you're being serious, or I'm in trouble, please, please refrain from calling me Charles.
Sixteen--I've managed to survive these years somehow, I'll never know how I managed to survive every month aside from last month. Sixteen, the age means nothing to me to be honest. Yes, I have my driver's license but it's not all it's cracked up to be, to be quite honest. The only way it's going to be fun, is if you have /local/ friends that will hang out with you.
Male-- There aren't many male roleplayers that I've come across that can sit down and actually type out something worth responding to. There are some very excellent male roleplayers out there though, I've seen them work, I've just never been able to work with them.
Heritage-- I've not a lot mixed into me, but on my Father's side, I've drawn in Dutch, Irish and English. On my mother's Side, Italian, possibly Irish and of course English. It's kind of hard to see the Italian in me, because the Dutch in me has pasted over any ability to tan, and I'm rather pale. D:
Michigan-- Ah Michigan, located in the Northern United States of America. Close to Illinois, near Wisconsin, not too far from North Dakota and just on the Canadian Border. I hate it here. The weather is insane, the people where I'm at are even more insane, and it's like living in, to be honest, a trash heap. I live about half an hour to an hour from Downtown Detroit, and it's not a pretty thing. The city I'm in is okay, but it's not much. It's full of want to be gangster kids that, look like they're trying to hard to get into the Bloods or Crypts, but in all reality they fear the two rival gangs with their life. Of course, can you blame them? At my school, I have a lot of want to be 'emo/scene/goth/vampire' kids, and so many of them are Twilight obsessed. (._.). It seems that not many people in this town, at my school, know what a shower and bar of soap is either. D:
England-- I miss you friend. I miss you terribly and it's only a short while before I can return to you. I promise that this time in the United States has made me see how much more I loved it there. I was born in England, and I wasn't there for long as my father, was in the United States Military. I've dual citizenship (meaning I'm a citizen of both the US and England) and I really wish I had just the England one.
Gay-- The sexuality seems overrated these days. Everyone's gay these days and it's hardly worth mentioning on forums where it won't matter, but I figured I'd let you all know, so it doesn't become a question later on.
Military/Government-- I guess you could say I'm quite the anarchist, a peaceful fellow though, as I don't believe in organized government. I've been soaked with age old paranoia (from growing up in the Military) that these people are lying to us. It's all a big conspiricy in my eyes. It's not just the US Government, but Government in general. My dad served twenty-one years in the United States Air Force, and I absolutely hated growing up in it. Traveling was awful. I was born in England, as I mentioned before. We were then a year later, given orders to move to Minot, North Dakota (jooooy ) Failure. Do you know what it's like in North Dakota? Six years of hell. All the mass amounts of snow, the cold, everything! People would come down from Alaska, and say it was cold in North Dakota. O: After six years there We got Orders to Florida (Climate change much?) Okay so I'm excited, I was in the second grade by then. Florida meant Disney World, the beach, sun, warmth, and overall fun, right?! HAHA no. We got stuck in Panama City, Florida. It might as well have been part of lower Alabama. (No Offense to those in/from Alabama) I lived, surrounded by trailer parks and your stereotypical drunk rednecks. Luckily, I was on the Air Force Base, sheltered from it, unless I left the base to go to school and what not. Alright, so six years in Florida made my dad's 21 years. He decided to retire rather then putting on Master. We moved to Michigan (dammit ._. climate change) in the middle of December. D: Most people ask, why Michigan Charleymander? Because my parents were raised in Michigan. My dad in Flint, my mum in Taylor.
Roleplaying History-- I've been roleplaying for a grand five years now. I started off on an Avidgamers Wolf Roleplay forum called Freedom Forest Wolf Pack. I was happy there. With FFWP. I played two of my most memorable wolves there. Amaroq and Blue. Both were kept dear to my heart as the site progressed. Eventually Freedom Forest was shut down, and a new one was built. A second generation. FFWP2. It remained alive for another year before the owner shut that one down and one of our courageous other admins started FFWP3. Blue died that year, of old age. I loved him though and I sometimes ressurect him from my character vault to try it again. FFWolfPack Three was shut down too, this time on the Avidgamer's agenda. Avidgamers moved on to paid forums. So we left. I switched to Neopets. I roleplayed there until they iced my account for "innappropriate content" Okay TNT, lighten up, so a boy kissed a boy, get over it. None the less before I was iced I was referenced to Proboards, a high school roleplay. I was nervous, I'd never done anything passed wolves and vampires, and I wasn't quite yet in High School, so I was baffled on how I would roleplay a highschooler. I managed to do it though. I've never really roleplayed on an invisionfree forum, and I'm not sure if I honestly would. The set up is kind of confusing. x( . High School Roleplays worked out with me, and I've kept up on them time after time, failure after failure. Now I'm at Dangerous Secrets, I've been there since March 9, 2008. I love the people there and I enjoy being there.
Current Roleplaying Status-- Currently I've found myself only looking at High School and College roleplays, as though trying to ready myself for my College entrance in late 2010, early 2011. I usually play male characters, but I've repeatedly tried to roleplay females, my latest attempt being Miss. Liliana Moretti.
Inspiration-- A lot of my inspiration comes from people I've met either online or around town. Though I can't give them all the credit. My mind spinds glorious webs of characters, and I'm sure DS staff is fed up with my character count. Music plays a grand part in my inspiration because, well, anything the lyrics read, becomes a new story line, a new character, even a new conflict. I owe the band Trophy Scars thanks for their helpful lyrics that play so well in my posts. They're song "Years So Much" on their newest album "Bad Luck" inspired the title to my introduction thread. : D
Babbling-- It's about time I ramble I guess. I've been told by many people that my posts can be intimidating, and I'd like to take a chance to say that it's not the quantity in your post, it's the quality of the words. I can assure you that my posts aren't intimidating, some just happen to be longer then expected. It all depends on inspiration and mood. Speaking of moods, I can get really moody really fast. I can give up on your forum quicker then imaginable, if you give me reason to. Make me believe that it's going to go some where and not sit their like an epic fail. Of course, I can't expect everyone to be on at all times, but I should be able to expect activity. I'm not on all the time myself. Like I said, if I give up, I disappear for a while, and then return at a later date. Most of the time my disappearence is due to an emotional or mental breakdown that I don't want to drag everyone into and I usually disappear without notice, because the breakdown happens so quickly that I don't catch it in time to say 'hey I have to leave for a while to get myself back together. ' So I apologize now, for any future disappearances. I usually do not like typing out big posts like this, because who really reads them? Few people I'm sure. I'm not that interesting of a person, so if I haven't put you to sleep yet, I'm in shock. I speak a lot of truth, and a lot of what's on my mind, chances are, if i think you're lying to me I'm going to tell you.
