Derek is Sky's abusive ex-boyfriend. The two have dated on and off for almost three years, and Sky thought she had finally escaped Derek by coming on the cruise to work. However, Derek was able to track down Sky and found himself a job as a cook on the ship in order to follow her. Will Sky escape Derek's crazy controlling ways or will he lure her back in with his charm?

While Sky is keeping her guard up and forcing herself not to fall for Lucas, her feelings are becoming too strong for her to deny. Will Lucas win Sky's heart or will Derek step in and cause harm to the both of them?
