However, due to the nature of humanity to all-around suck at that sort of thing, he has yet to complete his mission. Reita has retained the most resolve in his situation, and has yet to give up on the human race, insisting that he is 'manly and straight' on every occasion. He's straight, of course, but he doesn't mind pressing his lips to Myv's as a friendly gesture, or just for show!
Reita's a fun loving guy, and he doesn't like to buckle down and work. He'd rather be playing his bass. Reita is the moodmaker, he can cheer others up when frustrated. He gets serious when it comes to music. He gets affected by others, if he hears a good band he is determined to change.

Reita Akira was born in 1988 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, to Daisuke and Kotone Akira. He was their second child, but never seemed to give them what they expected. His older sister? Perfection on hand. Reita had a hard time in high school, he was always the class clown but he could never pay attention to get his work done. Surely his sister, Aoi, was their favorite.
Aoi of course, being perfection in the palm of another's hand. Aoi always tried to get Reita in trouble, he swore that the girl hadn't liked him at all. Aoi and Reita, in older age got along. Aoi was Reita's inspiration to pick up his bass guitar. With Aoi's help Reita turned from class clown to excellent bassist in almost no time at all.
It was Aoi who introduced former class clown Reita to the very shy, yet eccentric Miyavi. Myv and Rei hit it off pretty quickly and they enjoyed each others company and talents.
