I hang out and hold on And count the days till I come home I can't brave this all alone -------
Holly was excited! She had spent most of her day being bored...even though she'd tried several different things to crush the boredom. It turned out that getting facials was boring...as was going to the pool all by yourself. But she knew this cruise was going to get better...it had to. Her parents had spent quite a lot of money for both she and her brother to go on it, and she was going to have fun, damn damn it.
After she said her goodbyes she shut her laptop. This was definitely odd...she'd never actually hung out with someone she'd met online, or anything like that. Well, unless she randomly bumped into them and then the whole "OHMYGODIKNOWYOU" thing happened...which happened quite a lot to Holly, oddly enough. But at least it was something to do. And he seemed pretty cool...and he was cute. And she was really, really bored, and had nothing better to do then hang out with some random guy. It was just like old times in New York! Only in New York she hadn't met the guys online...instead she'd usually just met them on the street...which kind of made her sound like a hooker. Why was it everything that she thought or said made her sound like a hooker?
Holly looked down at her clothes, and decided to change. She was wearing her pajamas, sadly enough. And even though they were her favorites she didn't really want anyone seeing her in them. And so she grabbed a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and walked into her bathroom. She loved her bathroom...that was actually where she spent most of her time, oddly enough. Sitting in her bath...without the water in it. Yeah, a little odd maybe, but there wasn't much about Holly that wouldn't be considered odd.
She got dressed quickly, not bothering to make sure her hair or make-up was looking good, like any normal girl would. She knew she was looking fine...even if her eyeliner was probably a little bit smudged. Whatever. She wasn't one to obsess about her looks unless she was going somewhere special...or doing something fancy, or something. Like a party! Or clubbing! Or masquarades! Masked balls where always fun...she would have to find someone on the ship who was in charge of that stuff and force them to throw one.
As she shut her bathroom door, and pushed a lock of blonde hair out of her face she heard a knock on her door. Her face lit up with a smile. He was here! She pretty much bounced to the door as fast as she could, then opened it, and giggled a little bit. "Hey!" She said, in her loud voice, still wearing a smile on her face. She opened the door as wide as it could go, then moved so he could get into the room past her. "Come on in!" She said, walking over to the middle of the room and looking at him. If it weren't for the fact that Holly never felt awkward...this might have felt a little bit awkward.

I will drive past your house And if the lights are all down I'll see who's around A smirk played on the boys lips as he shut down his lap top and quickly changed from his flannels and into a pair of jeans and of course a shirt. He couldn't exactly walk around with no shirt on, well he could, but it probably wouldn't make a great first impression. Well then of course she could be one of the sluts on the boat and then she might not be, well of course she could be a lot of shit, but debating on the matter won't give him any answers so he quickly ditched the room as he slipped the sunglasses on he walked along the railing staying out of peoples ways, but smiling and nodding as others did so also. It wasn't like room four was even five minutes away from his own, but it felt like it was.
Ryan just took a deep breath as he leaned against the railing for a moment facing the door. Of course people passing by probably thought he got in a fight with whoever was inside or something weird everyone had their own story and came up with crazy fantasies for people who were in weird positions like Ryan was currently. With another sigh Ryan pushed himself off the railing and towards the door, now Ryan isn't a shy boy, but of course meeting someone who you only spoke to online would be a little...weird. Well of course she was cute and seemed really funny and she was actually really hot and nice and hot and this is where he starts pulling up the blanks of adjectives for the girl. His knuckles rasped quickly against the door and then he waited patiently for the door to open.
It only took seconds for the door to open and a very familiar looking blonde headed girl eagerly stepped aside giving him room to open. The boys lips pulled back into a large grin was he entered the room and pulled his sunglasses off. With a quick gesture Ryan's sunglasses were resting on the bill of his hat and he was nodding his head in greeting. Hey there hun Ryan said curtly as he looked around the room. It was fairly similar to his own except maybe just a little different designed, but then of course everyone's was like that. His eyes left the room furnishings and to the girl. His smile disappeared for a moment as he licked his lips. Well then miss I am Ryan and you are? he asked calmly as he took a small step towards her and in a quick gesture lightly grabbed the girls small hand and then placed his lips against her knuckles.
Of course it was corny and uncalled for, but it was just a common thing for Ryan Phillipes to do. Ryan quick released her hand and took a step back just in case though a smirk was still plastered to his lips. People have been known to slap him and if drunk attack him, but she wasn't drunk and she didn't seem like the type to slap him for kissing her hand, but she might so he wasn't taking any chances as he stood an extra step back than he had been earlier.

I hang out and hold on And count the days till I come home I can't brave this all alone -------
He was so cute! He reminded her of some kind of night in shining armor...only he was nothing like that. It was really only the hand kissing thing that reminded her of some noble guy from before they even had real silverware...probably because you never actually saw it happen anymore. Holly couldn't help bit giggle as he did it...if she weren't Holly she probably would have even blushed, but Holly never blushed. She never got embarrassed. She rarely, very rarely, ever got nervous. "I'm Holly!" She said, her ever present smile still playing on her lips as she stepped toward him and gave him a quick hug...a little odd to most, but that was her preferred way of greeting, even to strangers. Of course she'd learned that not every stranger liked to be hugged, but she didn't think he would be one of the ones that freaked out on her...he had, after all, kissed her hand. "It's nice to meet you."
She took a few steps further into the room, her movements looking more like she was playing hop scotch, then turned around and looking Ryan over again, her light brown eyes moving from his face to his feet quickly. "You can take off your shoes if you want." She said, cheerily. She wasn't the type to really care, though. Her room, while it wasn't as messy as she knew it would be in a few weeks, wasn't the cleanest ever. One of her shoes was on her bed, the other on the couch, and if you were to open her closet her clothes would have came spilling out. So she only opened that when she really needed clothes. She would probably have to convince her brother to organize things for her...like he usually did back home.
"So, what do you wanna do?" She asked, still looking at him in the eye. She wasn't the type to shy away from eye contact. "I have some movies, if you wanna watch a movie...this place came with a huge TV," She said, pointing to the television that had came with her room. She knew he probably had an equally great one...if he was first class. If not he probably didn't. But she loved the TV! She could watch movies while laying in her bed and the people looking even bigger than her! It was crazy! Of course...they didn't really look bigger than her, but in her mind they did. "Or, we could do something else. I'm not really picky. We could do anything!" She said, bouncing from foot to foot in a way that made it look like she was kind of restless, or something. She was really just bored, though, and hoped this guy could think or something fun to do! She hated being bored...and she hated boring people. But she didn't want to hate him, he was so cute, and he had seemed fun online, and he was very cute.

I will drive past your house And if the lights are all down I'll see who's around Ryan's smirk widened as she giggled which of course could only mean good things. Ryan only nodded as she said her name, Holly, that’s a cute name Ryan murmured more to himself, but still ended up saying out loud to the overly excited girl. Sure she was pretty, but shit she did seem to have a lot of energy or just be overly eager about this meeting. Most people would have probably found the hug thing weird, but then of course most people would have found the whole kissing hands thing perverted so...really it didn't matter and it really didn't matter to Ryan either. It is very nice to meet you also Ryan replied back without a thought to what she had really said.
As Holly displayed her skills at hop scotching around the room, Ryan just followed soundlessly as he shoved his hands into his jackets pockets watching Holly intently though every once and a while would sneak a glance around the room. Ryan just watched Holly while she looked him over once again before she started to speak. Uh okay was all that Ryan said as he slipped off his converse and lightly kicked them off to the side. It didn't seem like she cared where he put them so where ever they currently were is where they would have to stay for now. Well at least until he left then of course he would have to put them back on well actually he wouldn't, but Ryan has never been all for walking on the deck bare footed just because of all of the little kids running around doing god knows what to the floors.
Ryan has never been really big on children and doesn't plan on having any of his own. Well then of course having kid’s means you have to be in a relationship which is something that Ryan also refuses to get into. Well more like he is scared to get into one since he is scared of the thought of spending the rest of his life with one person, but then he will never admit any of that so refusing is the best word to use. Ryan was quickly drug from his thoughts as Holly's voice cut through them like a knife. He just blinked a few times before he nodded dumbly. Sure a movie sounds great Ryan has never been the best fan of movies, but then of course he can watch them with ease. He has no problem sitting and watching a movie with a girl for two hours.
Well unless you don't want to watch a movie Ryan stated calmly as she kept throwing out ideas and finally ended in telling him that they could do whatever. So apparently she was overly ecstatic about just hanging out, so she must be overly bored. Though Ryan couldn't blame her since he was pretty damn bored himself, but of course he never found himself bored enough to act so eager though maybe she was always this....this happy. He doesn't blame her or find it annoying it is just...interesting.

I hang out and hold on And count the days till I come home I can't brave this all alone -------
Holly wasn't particularly eager...okay, maybe a little bit. But she was more eager to be hanging out with someone, and doing something, then the fact that it was him. She wasn't going to get obsessive and stalker-ish about the poor guy...yet. Although she was known for being a tad bit clingy around people she considered friends...and by a tad bit, I mean a lot...and by people she considered friends I mean anyone who wasn't a total douche bag to her upon meeting. A good chunk of the people she considered friends either thought she was annoying, or secretly hated her but where too nice to tell her. She actually preferred the ones who just told her that they disliked her.
"Okay, let's watch a movie!" She agreed, sounding like a small child who had just been offered a lolli pop from a stranger. Excited, but confused nonetheless...a small child would be confused as to weather or not to take it, and Holly was confused as to weather or not she really wanted to watch a movie. She hated having to make decisions...even if he had kind of made this one...he had also kind of given her a decision. She sighed a little bit, and walking in her bouncing way over to her closet, pulling the door open hesitantly.
Luckily nothing fell out on her. But her big box of movies was in there, otherwise she wouldn't have even bothered to open it. Certainly not in company. She moved some of her clothes out of the way, quickly finding the box and pulling it out of the closet, before kicking the clothes that had fallen out back in, and shutting the door. "I hate closets." She said, in the blunt and slightly childish way she said a lot of things, as she placed the box on her big bouncy bed that she had actually spent quite a while jumping on during her first day on the cruise.
"You can pick the movie." She said, opening the box, which didn't actually have any tape on it, thank god, or she'd have to find some scissors. "I mostly have comedies...but I also have the titanic...other than that it's mostly comedies though." She giggled a little bit, then gestured towards the box with her right hand. "Pick whatever. I'm not really picky...I love them all, or else I wouldn't have brought them." She bounced over to the couch, and picked up the remote control, turning the television on to reveal the big blue screen.
